Fall 2008 Registration Update
Placement information can be found in the links provided below. We will continue to update this information as we receive additional player registrations.
Incomplete registration forms have been returned to the families to be properly completed. All forms must have the name, address, date of birth and home phone number for every player along with a parent signature. Payment is due at the time of registration unless other arrangements have been made. Financial assistance is available in the form of a deferred payment plan OR working through the Marshalltown Youth Foundation.
Families who did not meet their payment obligations do run the risk of their child not being placed on a team and/or run the risk of having their child pulled from participation until such time that their account is brought current.

Fall 2008 Coaching Assignments
Player Registration: Fall 2008/Spring 2009
Competitive/Traveling Team registration (IPSL, GDMJSL, Urbandale) is due June 30, 2008. Recreational registration is due July 31, 2008. Player registration received post marked after that date are not guaranteed placement. Team and coaching assignments will be updated periodically until the week of August 18, 2008 NEW!! Financial Assistance
Families requiring financial assistance are urged to contact the Marshalltown Youth Foundation (MYF). At this time MYF will provide support in the amount of $25.00 per registered child. At this time, MASC is no longer offering a deferred payment plan option due to the cost and overhead to administer the program.

to inclement weather
Should rain fall be extensive, as is anticipated during the weekend of April 11-13, 2008 to where fields might be damaged if played upon, coaches will be notified via email and when possible the web site will be updated with instructions.
Recreational games cancelled due to rain will not be rescheduled. IPSL, GDMJSL and Urbandale League games postponed or cancelled due to rain may be rescheduled at the discretion of the league director with input from the coaching staff.
Contact your coach regarding playing during inclement weather.
Team Formation Policy In November 2007, the MASC Board of Directors adopted a team formation policy that aligns with the Iowa Soccer Association. The practices outlined in this policy will be those practiced by the MASC board in forming teams at the recreational, select and premier levels. Game/Practice Schedule The game and practice schedule for the season will be available during the week of March 17, 2008. Coach's will be contacting players the week of March 17, 2008. If you have not heard from a coach at that time you are encouraged to contact them regarding practices. The practice schedule will be updated as information is provided back to the club.
