Champions

Being hot favourites to win guarantees nothing as Wonder Woman and her team very much the underdogs won the ladies final in the curtain raiser.  However unlike Stephen Bradbury, the Shearer's won with class not arse continuing their domination of the Division 3 indoor soccer competition at Kedron.

The Pandas a team that had a winning streak in the second half of the season worthy of Sunline, little did they know Sunline does not rate against the Shearer's Greyhound Ad's.  The Guns were taken out of the holster early to give the Shearer's the lead, The Panda's proving their finals worth struck back soon after to even the game up.

The half-time lead of 4-1 was generous as the Panda's were still very much in the game with their physical game play and eagerness on the ball.  The Shearer's managing their lead in the 1st half by putting a veto on their attack with solid defence from the Brick Shithouse Seano and DefenderAl.  Ad's was once again in the scorebook his slicks allowing him to race though their defence to get his 1st of 2 and Roundhouse notching a hat-trick for the match.

The second half had the Seagull collecting the scraps that made their way into the goal area and giving the Shearer's the edge with his experienced goal tending skills.  The Refs Love Child had his mentor overseeing with whistle in hand was able to score his 30th goal for the season and continued his forte of weaving through traffic in front of goals.  The second half also saw Hacker Dazz launch a rocket that found the back of the net, the goal soon followed up with a customary yellow card offence with a manoeuvre usually reserved for Judo.  With that goal and final minutes ticking away The Panda's head dropped as if to look for a bamboo patch to hibernate in until the next season.

The final result a true reflection on the season with the Shearer's outscoring their opponents 10-2 and Roundhouse jagging a double hat-trick for the game.

Next season see the Shearer's promoted to a higher division, this will have the squad working on their skills in the endeavour to capture of back to back premierships.
