The Autumn season of the ClubFootball Midweek 5-a-side League kicks off on Monday 13th!

Beijing Foreigners Sports Carnival 2008 will be staged on Oct 18th at the Canadian International School and promises a feast of sports for expats including a 7-a-side football tournament.

For CF members that fancy a break from the soccer scene there are also competitions in badminton, tennis, table tennis and basketball, plus a range of activities to keep spectators involved and entertained throughout the day.

Now is the time to sign up for CF's fun October Holiday fun "World of Football" intensive courses!

Courses run from Monday 29th September to Friday 3rd October meeting every day at either ISB (Shunyi) and ClubFootball Xiaowuji, and combine skills development activities with fun holiday games & competitions. CF's professional UK qualified coaching team have developed an intensive curriculum that concentrate each day on a skill area including shooting, defending, dribbling & passing. The final session is entirely devoted to matchplay.

On behalf of all ClubFootball members, we'd like to express our deepest condolences to the family and friends of Thomas Marechal, who passed away last weekend.

Captain of the French LE team and one of the most popular figures in Beijing's international football scene, Thomas will be missed and long remembered by all of us for his love of the game, his love of life, and his friendship. May he rest in peace.

ClubFootball is delighted to announce that it has made the finals of The China British Business Awards 2008, represented by Chairman, Rowan Simons, in the "Entrepreneur of the year" category.

With just 5 entrants left in the running, the club has an excellent chance of emerging victorious, but needs the help of members in lodging their vote, in order to do so. Anyone can vote simply by visiting the voting page, selecting the "Entrepreneur" category and going through a simple process of voting & validation. Voting closes on Sept 26th!
