We are a multi-functional organization:
As part of our teaching programs, we hold year-round training sessions. Our winter training sessions are held primarily in Hunterdon County. Our summer camps are held at various locations in New Jersey, including Somerset County (Bedminster), Hunterdon County (Lebanon and Califon) and Mercer County (Pennington). We also hold a summer camp in Warwick, NY. All of our programs are tailored to each level of play so that all of our players will equally benefit from our internationally acclaimed coaching staff. This summer, for example, Spartac has engaged coaches from First Division clubs in Italy, such as Inter-Milan, Venice, Padova and Como. We also have coaches from Division 1 teams in Belgium. Spartac’s founder, primary trainer and coach is Heinz Consten (for his complete resume, click here. Heinz has worked for thirty-five years with youth players. He obtained his “A” USSF license under the direction of Karl-Heinz Heddergott, head of the German Football Federation in 1987. He has been Head Coach of teams that are members of the Hudson Valley Youth Soccer Association, Mid-New Jersey Youth Soccer Association, and the Head Coach of Pine Bush Regional High School in New York and Pope John High School in New Jersey. More recently, Heinz has coached New Jersey Select Program youth teams as well as the U-17 ODP squad. During Heinz’s career, he has developed many players, both boys and girls, from the remedial skill level all the way through to regional status, as well as Division One Schools. He personally has brought five players to the National Team level, one of which is currently on the U-20 Men’s National Team.
