The Djibouti national football team, nicknamed the Riverains de la Mer Rouge (Shoremen of the Red Sea), is the national team of Djibouti and is controlled by the Fédération Djiboutienne de Football. They did not enter the qualification tournament for the 2006 World Cup. Djibouti had never won a full FIFA sanctioned international until they defeated Somalia 1-0 in the opening stage of 2010 FIFA World Cup qualification.
