Beckham booed as Galaxy beaten
After crossing nine time zones to reach four cities in three days, David Beckham appeared a little disoriented on Saturday after the Los Angeles Galaxy's 2-0 loss to the Kansas City Wizards.

Galaxy's Beckham out of this world as pay skyrockets
David Beckham is once again football's highest-paid player, according to France Football magazine.
Beckham's earnings from salary and endorsements rose by 82 per cent to €31m (£24.7m) after his move to the Los Angeles Galaxy from Real Madrid. That lifted him above Barcelona's Ronaldinho, whose income was unchanged at £19.2m, the magazine's annual survey said.
Beckham, 32, was the highest-paid footballer for three years until 2005. He now has a $5.5m (£2.8m) basic salary that could be worth as much as $250m (£127m) over five years with endorsements and profit sharing, according to the Galaxy. Continue
BECKHAM AT LA GALAXY
Major League Soccer's Los Angeles Galaxy unveiled their new uniforms on Wednesday...The new kit features a new club crest in addition to new club colors...The home kit, made by adidas, is a traditional white with gold trim and the traditional three adidas stripes are navy blue. The away kit is the same shade of navy blue with the adidas striping in gold.
The crest now features a navy blue background with a single star illuminating the initials LA. The Galaxy's jersey sponsor Herbalife is emblazened across the chest of both the home and away kit. Source

After a falling out with Manager Alex Ferguson, David Beckham parted company with Manchester United. He was sold to Real Madrid for £25 million in the summer of 2003.

LA Galaxy is paying Beckham $32.5 million over five years. He is expected to make about $200 million more in endorsements and merchandise fees.
According to Forbes magazine Beckham earned about $27 million in the year ending June 2006. This includes his salary at Real Madrid and his celebrity endorsements with Adidas, Gillette, Police sunglasses and others.
