It comes with with great sadness that I announce my resignation as Operations Director for Florida Soccer Alliance. I have accepted a position at a major financial institution in the Central Florida area. I would like to thank the FSA team and its members for providing me this great opportunity and I will miss you all.

2008 FSA Raffle Results

And the 2008 Raffle winners are...

Dorene Penhaligon won the brand new Toyota Yaris, donated by David Maus Toyota in our largest annual fundraiser.  Dorene originally won a yellow two-door and decided to upgrade to the four-door.

Dorene stated “When Charles called me on Sunday and stated he was from David Maus, I immediately said No Way! Is this for real? I can’t believe it!  I’ve never won anything before.  It was really exciting and thought this was perfect timing. I have a daughter who’s ready to start driving.  What could be better then winning a new car?”

The team who sold the most raffle tickets and won $500.00 goes to:  Bill Eissele’s team.

The individual who sold the most tickets and won the iPod Nano and $30.00 music card goes to:  Nejad Jafaria

Open Door Haiti

FSA is excited to start a a soccer outreach program to support the local mission “Open Door Haiti.“  A previous FSA soccer family runs this mission.

We will be accepting donatios of new or slightly used soccer equipment to be shared with the children of Haiti.  This is an easy way to spread the joy of soccer to the kids in Haiti and to put all those unused items to good use.  Please take a moment to look around the house for all those unused items and bring them to practice or to your next game.  There will be a box in the club office for your items (shoes, shin pads, socks, shorts, shirts, balls).  To help cover the transportation fee of these items a small financial donation would also be appreciated.

For more information regarding this mission please visit OPENDOORHAITI.COM.

Thank you in advance for supporting this outreach program and if you have any questions or comments please feel free to contact Jody at 407-739-3762.
