Sevilla FC History
|
Sevilla Football Club is,
historically, the best football team in Seville. It was
established in 1905. It has won one Liga and three Copa del
Generalísimos.
The team wears white for home games and red for away games. Fans
of the team are nicknamed sevillistas.
Among the players on Seville Football Club, there have been:
Diego Maradona, Rinat Dasaev, Diego Simeone, Robert Prosinecki,
Bebeto, Anton Polster, Davor Suker and more recently, Jose
Antonio Reyes who has signed for Arsenal FC in the 2003/2004
season transfer window in January.
Its stadium is named Ramón Sánchez Pizjuán which has a spectator
capacity of 55 000. Biris cry on stadium.
The Real Betis Balompié also from Seville is the Sevilla's
historical rival. |
