HFC 95 Rhein finishes second in PLW

The Hurricane 95 Rhein team recently completed play in the Region III Premier League West, having earned a second place finish.  HFC finished the elite league on 5 wins, 1 loss, and 3 ties; having scored 23 goals and allowing only 10.  The  PLW champs, Dallas Sting 95, is the only team to beat HFC during league play, in a thrilling 3-2 game.  The second place finish by Hurricane is the best finish among any Oklahoma girls team in the PLW this season.  Congrats on this outstanding showing!

HFC 95 wins Metro United Tourney

HFC 95 Rhein traveled to St. Louis over the weekend of Nov 1-2 and returned champions of the u-14 girls premier division of the highly regarded Metro United Tournament.  The premier division featured 4 state champions and the Region II champions and finalist.  HFC won their bracket going 3-0 while scoring 12 goals and allowing 3.

Hurricane met the Missouri state champions, St. Louis Scott Gallagher SC United, in the semi finals and won 2-1.  The opponent for the final was the KCFC Force, Kansas state champs and Region II finalist.
KCFC faced a tough semi-final against Ohio Premier Green and was no match for HFC, as Hurricane won the final 4-1.

HFC finished this event last year as semi-finalist.  HFC's record for 2008 is now 36 wins, 2 losses, and 5 ties.

Blood Drive for Connor Crosslin

Hurricane FC 92 Cussen team will be sponsoring a blood drive this Saturday, November 1st from 8 am - 12 noon at the American Red Cross located at 7158 S. Memorial in Tulsa (on Memorial between 81st & 71st on the east side of the street).  The blood drive will be in memory of Connor Crosslin, younger brother of Natalie Crosslin, a Hurricane Futball Club player and member of the HFC 92 Cussen team.  Connor passed away last week due to complications from heart surgery.  If you are interested in donating blood, please contact Jana Nash at jananash@cox.net or Suzie Haines at suziehaines@gmail.com to schedule a time.  Drop ins are also welcome.  Thanks for your support in helping us honor Connor's memory!

HFC 98 Tims Wins First Competitive Tournament

HFC 98 Tims traveled to Memphis for the Fall Grrrls Soccer Elite 08 Championship on September 6th and 7th for their first tournament as a competitive team.  The team won all four of their games outscoring their opponents by a combined score of 15 – 5 to win the U11 Girls Gold Division.  The team enjoyed the great weather and beautiful fields at Mike Rose Soccer Complex in addition to quality competition in the gold division that included teams from Tennessee, Mississippi and Oklahoma.  Congratulations girls on a great start to your competitive soccer careers.

Car Wash for Candace

Hurricane FC 92 Cussen team will be having a car wash on Saturday, September 20th from 11am - 3pm at the Kum & Go located at 98th & Riverside.  We are raising funds to help support one of our players who recently had surgery and has additional surgery planned in the coming weeks.  All money raised will be donated to Candace's family to help with their medical expenses.  Please come out and support a great cause!

Successful Car Wash

Hurricane FC 95 girls would like to thank everyone who came out to support our team by having their car washed last Saturday.  Hard work by players and parents paid off after 8 hours in the sun. We earned a total of 719.00  Way to go! Kansas City here we come!!
