Italy takes World Cup over France on PKs

Italy captured its fourth World Cup title in Berlin by defeating France 5-3 on penalty kicks after the sides played to a 1-1 draw over 120 minutes. French great Zinedine Zidane scored France's goal, but was later sent off in overtime. Fabio Grosso scored the deciding penalty kick for Italy.
