The BSC U14 Girls participated in the 2008 Jack Welsh Memorial Tournament on October 11 and 12, 2008 in Abington, PA. With a 4-0 win on Saturday morning against Lower Merion, the team got out to a good start, only to stall in the second game on Saturday against Springfield and come up with a scoreless tie. Needing a win Sunday morning against the unbeaten Phoenix Force, BSC came out strong and Gabby Hammel got the only goal of the game to qualify for the finals. In a very physical final game against the defending champs, Fox Chase, BSC fought their way to a 2-2 tie after regulation and overtime. In the penalty shootout, Kaitlyn Lavelle made two great saves on four shots, and Brooke Munion and Vicki Koutsouris scored to win the championship!

The BSC U11 Girls participated in the KidsPeace 11th Annual Soccer Invitational on August 23 and 24, 2008 in Orefield, PA. The team opened up on Saturday with a 2-1 win against Lower Macungie and a 1-1 tie against Lower Nazareth, and finished strong with two wins on Sunday, 3-2 against Blue Mountain and 2-1 against St. Thomas Moore. Scoring for the girls were Sydney Kane (3), Claudia Bento (3), Shreya Bhatt (1) and Destiny Keenan (1). Courtney Shupp minded the net for the team and allowed only 4 goals in 4 games. The midfield was patrolled by Lexi Christein, Delaney Davis, Dana Neupauer, Taysia Snead, and Rachel Wills while Devon Saul, Erika Peters, Michaela Brunnabend, Sydney Cyr, and Ally Lynott anchored a solid defense.
By finishing as the only undefeated team in the U11 girls bracket at 3-0-1, the girls won first place in their first ever tournament.

The BSC U13 Girls participated in the KidsPeace 11th Annual Soccer Invitational on August 23 and 24, 2008 in Orefield, PA. The team opened up strong and won 4-0 and 1-0 against St. Joe’s and Valley United, respectively, in the qualifying round to take the number 1 seed in the group. Scoring for the girls were Lauren Posch (2), Julia Walther (2) and Haley Lower (1), while Haley Walther and Haley Lower combined for two shutouts. The midfield was led by Mackenzie Bento, Taylor Kane and Emily Brandstetter while Taylor Treadwell, Melissa Peters, Kallie Rogers, Jenna Hopper and Tianna McGregor played stingy defense. Brooke Young, a new addition to the team, worked diligently up front teaming with the goal scorers on several scoring opportunities. In the single elimination semifinal on Sunday, the girls lost 2-0 to Palisades and finished third with a 2-1 record.

BSC U9 Boys Team United won the U-9 LVYSL Presidents Day 2008 Indoor Cup on a 4-0 victory over Carbon Mayhem and finished undefeated at 4-0-0 record. They also won the championship for the second session U-9/U-10 division at the Turff Club with a 5-0-1 record ( combined 12-3-1 during the 2 winter leagues playing in the U-10 division).
