Welcome to the Norwich small sided football leagues website. Hopefully you will find something useful about 5,6 and 7 A Side football leagues in Norwich. What started out as an unofficial website for the Rogers and Norton 5 a side football league many years ago has now turned into a news and information centre for small sided football here in Norwich.  R&N Results Update and Roundup 20-10-08

 Results have been updated and it looks like Halifax have withdrawn from Division 1 as all teams have been given the default 15-0 win against them. Paul at the Rogers and Norton control centre still awaits contact from Halifax but it looks likely they are the first team to fold this season.

 Results from the Rogers and Norton 5 a side football league have now arrived. There have been a total of 32 games played in division 1 with 20 home wins, 12 away wins and 0 draws. Current league leaders Highcross FC have 16 points from 9 games. Larking Gowen are second with 12 points from 8 games and a goal difference of 55. Grant Thornton are still looking for the first points of the season.

 UEA Sportspark Prices Up Again

 The UEA Sportspark has put its prices up again with the cost of hiring the outdoor pitches up to £27 hour peek and £18 off peek. The cost of just getting in has also gone up from 50p to 60p (unless you are a sportscard holder).

Here is a quick roundup : StuartBrown scores 3 in week 8 as Virgin Wines knock in 8 goals for a home win against Scott Wilson in division 2. StuartBrown hits the net for Virgin Wines in the 1-3 good away win against BT Engineering during week 7. Greg Banbury hits the net for Virgin Wines in the 1-3 good away win against BT Engineering during week 7. StuartBrown scores 6 in week 6 as Virgin Wines lose away against Eversheds in division 2. Lee Albin scores a couple in week 6 as Virgin Wines still go down to a 16-9 defeat against Eversheds in division 2.

 Results from the Rogers and Norton 5 a side football league have now been updated. There have been a total of 27 games played in division 1 with 17 home wins, 10 away wins and 0 draws. Current league leaders Larking Gowen have 12 points from 7 games. Marsh are second with 10 points from 6 games and a goal difference of 53. Grant Thornton are still looking for the first points of the season. Biggest league division 1 home win(s) , Marsh 28 - 5 NCC FC. best away win(s) , Grant Thornton 0 - 15 Marsh, Halifax Plc 0 - 15 Larking Gowen. The highest scoring week so far has been week 6 with a total of 93 goals being scored. The lowest scoring week so far has been week 8 with a total of 16 goals being scored. Marsh are currently on an undefeated run of 5 games ( L W W W W W). Marsh have one of the best division 1 records so far with 10 points from 6 games. In Division 2 games played now total 31 with 16 wins going to the home side. 14 teams managed away wins and 1 settled for draws. Current league leaders Davis Langdon have 12 points from 7 games.
