We are a U18 Representative Team from Dover, Delaware, 2003 and 2005 Delaware State Cup Champions and 2006 Finalist. Try Outs for Season 2008-2009 (Updated October 26, 2008) The CDSA Revolution, U 18 Boys team will be holding its try outs on: Saturday, November 1 from 4 to 6 pm at Dover High School (Turf field) AND Sunday, November 2 from 4 to 6 pm at Dover High School. Interested players should bring a copy of their birth certificate and a $5 to cover for CDSA registration fee. Following a very busy high school season -that saw many of its players recognized for their talents-, Revolution launched its 2007-2008 season by competing in the Baltimore College Showcase tournament, In the first game, Revolution played a skilled team from MD, Severna Park, and tied 1-1. A few hours later, the Revolution played the Redland Jaguars, a PA team we had met previously. It was a balanced game that ended in favor of the Revolution 1-0. In the semi final, the Revolution met the Baltimore Bays from MD, a very strong team. With only 12 players available that included one talented 13 year old, the Revolution could not sustain the same level of effort that it had in previous games and lost 5-0. This does not, in any way, diminish the talent of the Bays who clearly deserved to win the tournament and did. This is a good start to what promises to be a good season for the Revolution. Please note that we have few open spots on the team. Anyone born after August 1, 1990, committed to soccer and wishes to join a great team is welcome.
