OFF THE BALL, SATURDAYS AND SUNDAYS ON RADIO SCOTLAND
After a weekend off the show makes a triumphant return to the airwaves on Saturday 6 December with the Sunday Supplement show returning on Sunday 7 December, with popular beat combo Hue and Cry popping in for a chat and a jam scone, perhaps they'll let us know if they ever found Linda.
Off the Ball is petty, ill-informed and fronted by two Scottish football fans who really should know better.
Stuart Cosgrove and Tam Cowan have endured more highs and lows than Michael Fish, but, erasing the memory of the last-minute defeat and focusing on the flukey winner, they stick on the headphones each week and make us laugh about our national game.
Listen in, get involved by text, phone or email, and enjoy the shows.
Can you, or indeed should you, throw your Granny off a bus?

Off the Ball says a resounding NO!
We are searching for your favourite stories about that most loveable and cuddly of creatures, the Scottish Granny.
The show was recently inundated with memories and we've compiled some of the best interviews and phone calls in an audio feature we rather cleverly like to call; Off the Ball 'Gran-ecdotes'.
You see what we did there?

Thanks to everyone who sent in their suggestions for the team of ghouls, freaks and horror shows.
There are some familiar faces in the gallery, including many you hoped you would never see again. Shunspooky Nakamura gets into the team thanks to his freakish ability to bend things round walls. Have a click through if you dare...

Stuart and Tam with Jack Docherty and his Darth Vadar soup pot
|
Stuart and Tam take a romp through the wilds of Scottish football.
Saturday's programme was a riot, with guest Jack Docherty providing plenty of laughs, especially with his Darth Vader impersonation using a pot from the BBC canteen.
Other guests included one half of Scotland's celebrity couple, singer-songwriter Amy MacDonald and footballer Steve Lovell. Here's a clue: it was the good-looking one. What, you need another clue?
Former Hearts manager Stevie Frail was on the phone to the show too, proving that after his experiences at Tynecastle, he is up for anything.

Taggart star James MacPherson is about to arrest Stuart on the grounds of poor sartorial taste
|
On Sunday's Off the Ball Supplement, Stuart and Tam were joined by former Taggart star and dreamy hunk for the more mature lady, James MacPherson.
Well, what do you expect? We recently had his Taggart co-star Blythe Duff on the show, so we had to balance the gender inequality.
