Welcome to Brooklyn Northern United AFC (BNU). BNU is a community-based soccer club in Wellington's southern suburbs. Starting out as Institute Old Boys in 1916, the club merged with Northern United in 1972, making it one of the region's largest and oldest clubs. Brooklyn Northern United has 27 teams in 20 divisions and caters for men, women, and young people of all ages and abilities.

Womens Premier vs. Waikanae at Jim Cooke – 11.5.08

Waikanae haven’t won a game all season. BNU have won three in this new fangled premier division and are convinced they’re going to win the league…in a nutshell, Brooklyn should win and win well…if only things always went as they should.

Aaaahhhh Marist.  The traditional foe.  I mean let’s be honest, we hate Marist, and we hate Marist…we are the Marist haters, so it was with much enthusiasm and vigour that we took to the field at Kilbirnie in an effort to waste Marists face and continue our premier league journey towards success.
