GSSA has recreational teams for ages 4 through 18. We play two seasons: Spring (March-May) and Fall (September-November). Under 5 (U5) players participate in the coed Mini-Jogo program (see NEWS tab). Girls can choose to play on an all-girls team at U6. Uniforms are provided for U5 and U6. Referees are provided for ages U7 and older. Players may "play up" one age group. U11 - U19 teams play in the North Mid-Cities Soccer League. Half of U11-U19 games are in surrounding cities, the other half are in Grapevine/Southlake. |

Saturday, 10/04 at Oak Grove for teams playing at Meadowmere and Oak Grove Please arrive 1 hour prior to game time - 1 hour, 15 minutes if playing at Meadowmere.

GSSA Academy Partners with MLS Camps for skills training
Skills sessions for the Fall 2008 season begin Monday, September 8th.
GSSA is excited to announce our continued partnership with MLS Camps for skills training. The GSSA Academy resumes September 8th, from 5:30 - 7:00PM for U8 and below, and from 7:00 - 8:30PM for U9 and above, plus goalies. The cost for the GSSA skills training remains at $80 per season. The Academy skills sessions are held at Bob Jones Park on Mondays, on the south end under the lights (West field). Note that you have two options as far as seating goes – Sideline East (television side) for $17 or Sideline West (shady side) for $23. That is a savings of either $8 or $12 per seat.
If you join us for the GSSA event on September 28, your youth players will be a part of the pre-game ceremonies down on the field!
If you can’t make the game on September 28, you have two other options – this Saturday, August 30 v. the Columbus Crew or Saturday, October 11 v. Toronto FC. GSSA's Policy on Pets at the Fields
The GSSA board has adopted the following policy on dogs (including other leashed animals) for insuring a safe, non-distracting and sanitary environment for the participants, support volunteers and spectators:
- Dogs or other pets required to be on a leash by the city of Grapevine or Southlake are not allowed at the U4-6 sidelines, goal lines, or bleacher area during game or warm-up. In addition, dogs are not permitted on the playing fields and players areas.
- Dogs are permitted at U7 and older divisions, but must be kept 10 yards or more from other seated spectators, bleachers and sidelines. No dogs are permitted on the playing fields, players area or behind the goal lines.
